Patient Care, Safety and Health of the Staff and the Dentist is Paramount

Diamond Dental of Salinas adheres to the ongoing strict guidelines and compliance to ADA, CDA, OSHA and CDC’s regulatory recommendations in the wake of the recent global pandemic brought by Covid-19. We have a set of “New Normal” in our daily operations by acquiring and using the necessary PPE’s and equipments as additional layer of safety to facilitate the care and protection for both our Patients, our Staff and the Dentists.

For Aerosol management, we have acquired  *ADS Extraoral Dental Suction System, which Removes High Volume of Droplets & Aerosols Produced During Treatment. It has an extensive medical grade filtration system, along with UV light disinfectant . Likewise, we provide AirPurifiers in each room with the Certified Hepa Filters  with UV Lights.

For Office Ventilation, 

We have installed another additional layer of protection for everyone amidst this time of pandemic brought out by Covid 19. For air quality inside our office, we have  iWave C – the best in air purification. iWave C is a self-cleaning, bi-polar ionization generator that actively treats our air quality. It produces and maintains unparalleled ionization output and capabilities. As the air flows past the iWave C, the device emits positive and negative ions, creating a plasma region that actively purifies the supplied air, killing mold, bacteria and viruses in the coil and living space. We are making this endeavor to assure our patients, staff and the dentist that Safety is not compromised.

We provide Dental Care in a very safe environment by strictly following proper infection control protocol. We are using a Touchless Check-in and Text to Pay System to avoid unnecessary contacts with Staff and Patient.  Our staff are well-trained in proper donning of PPE’s like safety eye wear, masks, gloves, face shields, hair covers, foot covers and fluid resistant wear.  We strictly enforce a “No Mask No Entry Policy”. From the Main Office Entrance, we provide a disinfecting Door Mat, a Temperature check Station, Patient Sanitation Area and Proper Social Distancing in our waiting room (advising other patients to wait in their car). We installed “Sneeze Guards” in our Front Desk and each for our Front Office staff.  Access and provision of Hand Sanitizers, Alcohol-based hand rub, soap and tissues are all available to all operatories, bathroom facilities, laboratory, hallways and all areas in our dental office. Most of all, we focus on the proper and thorough sterilization of all our dental instruments.

Disinfection using a thorough disinfectant sprayer all over the office is done after each day of operation to ensure a clean, germ and viral-free office ready for the next day of operation.
